The vulnerability of spring
Plus details for our Gathering session tomorrow and an invitation to come along
Birds are singing, flowers are blooming and there is actual warmth in the sun.
A time of newness, possibility and excitement. Shaking off the quiet of winter and embracing a new beginning.
However, this time is also chaotic and busy and most of all vulnerable. In nature, it’s incredibly risky to come into bloom. Do it too soon and a sneaky late frost might kill the plant altogether.
Feeling vulnerable when things are new and unfamiliar is something that deserves to be talked about more. Showing ourselves grace when we are learning and figuring things out and just getting started doesn’t seem to happen often. A massive confusion happens between failing and learning.
We have another Gathering session this week for the equinox (for many, including me, the actual start of spring). We’ll be exploring rituals about shaking off the old and embracing the new. We’ll have some relaxation in the form of a short(ish) guided visualisation / meditation. Plus we will revisit intentions set last week and/or set these. We’ll also explore vulnerability and motherhood.
If you’d like to join us live, we will make you so very welcome. Or you can catch up on the content in the members area of my website (please drop me a note if you are a paid subscriber so I can send a code to access this for free).
How are you feeling today? Is there anything that you need would like support with? You can explore working together a little more here, or book some free time to talk here.
